We Care
Congregational Care
Our Congregational Care team provides encouraging care and support to the members and friends of Lewis Memorial. These servants directly touch individuals and families in a personal and compassionate way that mirrors Christ’s love, including meals, cards and notes, and pastoral visits. Care Connections
Care Connections is an extension of our Congregational Care, designed to foster deeper relationships with and support our shut-in Lewis Memorial family. Our team of “Friends” routinely contact members who are restricted in leaving their home and regularly visit them to listen, to pray, to encourage, and to offer church assistance when needed. GriefShare
A GriefShare group meets every Wednesday, 6:30 pm in Room 403 through May 14, 2025. The 13-week grief support group is open to any adult and focuses on helping people who are dealing with a loved one’s death. Each session helps you to recognize the symptoms of being stuck in grief and how to cope with the emotions that come when grieving a death, provides valuable information on facing life situations, and offers renewed hope for the future. The group is facilitated by trained individuals who have personally experienced grief due to a loved one’s death. Click here for more information on the GriefShare program or click here if you are interested in joining the current group. A new group will form in January 2026.
Recovery Groups
We welcome various fellowships of people who come together to solve their addiction problems, sharing their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problems and help others to recover. Anyone with a desire for recovery is welcome, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, income, or profession. Click here to find AA and NA group meeting information.
